Following God’s Plan Isn’t Always Easy

In today's world, it can be easy to get caught up in our own plans and dreams. We may have goals that we want to achieve or things that we want to accomplish in life. But what if God has a different plan for us? What if His plans are better than our own?

Last week, I discussed this topic with a special guest, Jenelle Simpson, on the Unstoppable Live Show. We discussed Jenelle’s background about her growing up in Jamaica, overcoming tough obstacles, and how she kept her focus on the Lord. Following God’s plan isn’t always easy and smooth sailing, but it’s worthwhile.

In the Bible, we see many examples of people who followed God's plan, even when it didn't make sense to them. Abraham was called to leave his home and family and travel to a new land. He didn't know where he was going, but he obeyed God anyway. And God blessed him greatly.

Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers. He was falsely accused of rape and thrown into prison. But even in the midst of all of his trials, Joseph never gave up on God. He trusted that God had a plan for his life, and he was eventually released from prison and became second in command to Pharaoh.

These are just two examples of people who followed God's plan, even when it didn't make sense to them. However, God still decided to bless them greatly because they were obedient to Him and His will.

So, what does it mean to follow God's plan? It means putting Him first in our lives and trusting He knows what is best for us. Especially when it comes to our businesses, it means obeying His commands, even when it's hard.

It's not always easy to follow God's plan. There will be times when we don't understand why He's leading us in the way He is. But if we trust Him and keep our eyes on Him, He will always lead us in the right direction.
