- Know what to outsource.
Your core competencies should always stay in-house, but there are some things that definitely need to be outsourced. Entrepreneurs must understand that they cannot do everything, and there are some things they should not be doing. I always tell my clients the following: Your goal is to work on your business instead of working in it.
- Build a team and begin to remove yourself.
Eventually, to scale your business, you must be able to pass on your skills and knowledge in order to become duplicatable. It is about hiring the right people who can do your job.
- Build a company that will always solve a problem—this increases the demand.
For example, as a Business Expansion Coach, there are always businesses that need to expand their current streams of revenue. There is always a need for my service. Make sure there is always a need for your product or service.
